The weight difference in this fight is disgusting and does deserve some skepticism!!! It's great that Derek got the win, however it is a huge risk to give 20+ pounds in weight!

It was either 20 lbs., or maybe 6 lbs.    In any case... Derek's original opponent fell through, and David Laque would have no trouble making 130 lbs. with more then 2 days notice.

Derek had the advantage of knowing he was on the card for weeks, also, though it's been a long layoff for him, Derek is "World Class". I think as the matchmaker giving Laque 6 or 7 pounds was the least I could do.
What would be "Disgusting" is if I put him in with somebody who couldn't stand up to Derek, and fight back. We've all seen Pro debuts in very bad mismatches... something I didn't want  for Derek, or on the card at all.

Ps.  Cory don't forget.... I had a 2 day notice to box you for your debut, and I also had to gain about 8 pounds.  How fast we forget the people who have done nothing but help you !

I went and ate a full meal before weighing in at 153 lbs. And you gained 8 pounds to weigh at 156...fatty!

I wooped your ass! It was one of the easiest fights I ever had.

My trainer is Ray Nelson...a trainer that I have had since I was 11 years old. My manager is my father...a man who has been in my corner since I was 11 years old. And my last fight...who was in my corner? My Uncle Bobby Rodriguez, Rudy Rodriguez, my eldest brother John, and Larry Goodman. I've known Larry since I was 13 year old.

So fuck you Hoffman!!! I'm not a brother! The only reason you want to get on here and cry is because you want me to become a "brother." I have no interest in fighting for anyone else.

Besides, I was only commenting on the weight differences of Derek's fight. I know Derek can handle his own...by why put him in there with a guy who is much bigger then him...6 pounds my ASS!

speaking of fatty anybody see Fernando Vargas at the campas/cam. fight this weekend....... I just seen pics on fight news but what a fat f#ckin bitch!!! I member him doin that between fights from time to time as well........
