Posted 10/10/2007 02:31:48 PM | | PLEASE READ AND ABIDE BY THE FORUM RULES AND REGULATIONS October 10th, 2007.
The following rules and regulations are for the use of this forum to insure a quality internet experience. I expect a clean forum-no hitting below the belt, keep your hands up and defend yourselves at all times.
1. This is a BOXING forum. Please keep all issues relevant to boxing on this forum. Although this is a Minnesota Boxing Forum, all topics on boxing, whether it be local, national, or international, are welcome.
2. The moderator reserves the right to delete posts at any time that violate the rules listed here.
3. Treat all posters and fighters that you are commenting on with respect. No smack talking or personal attacks on posters or fighters. In regards to the latter, I have far too much respect for the men that try to put food on their table by this sport that we love to tolerate disrespecting fighters. This is an absolute zero tolerance policy. If you disrespect a fighter on this board you will be suspended indefinitely. To be clear, any libelous statement will be seen as disrespect. As an example, suggesting a fighter should use a jab more is NOT disrespectful—suggesting a fighter smokes meth IS. Anything in between will be judged by the administrator.
3. Posting on this forum is a PRIVILEGE not a RIGHT. This is a private group with membership required. That means I reserve the right to delete any thread, post and or user who violates these policies. If you don't like this rule you don't have to be a member of this forum.
4. A poster who violates any of the policies written here will receive a written warning via a private message. Second offense will be a ban from the forum indefinately.
5. Stay on topic when posting to a particular thread. Posts and or posters who continually get off topic will be deleted. If you are going to contribute on this forum, make your contribution significant to the discussion of boxing.
6. 99% of the posters on this forum want to talk about boxing and specifically boxing in Minnesota. Most everyone treats others with respect and follows these rules already. Thank you in advance for your adherence to these policies and feel free to email me with any questions. The rules and guidelines will be updated as needed and all members will be notified of these updates as they occur. I have volunteered to administer this forum, and may be slow in responding, as I have a busy career completely unrelated to boxing. Your patience is appreciated.
Have fun,
Don Flamenco
